So much time, effort , detail and money goes into planning a baby shower! One little detail that leaves an impression is the favor you choose to give your guests. Sometimes searching the web or the stores is just too time consuming for this task! Kate Aspen has been my go to many times for memorable, unique, practical and personalized favors and gifts! I’m happy to be able to partner with them and share with you this little secret of mine! Take a look at what they have! I’m sure you won’t me disappointed!
We had the honor of creating this quick and easy table setup for little Miss Penny’s First Birthday! Filled with colors that pop, this setup was super exciting for me! We made two coral reef side pieces to compliment the table and used starfish as cupcake holders! We used pool noodles, colored card stock , tissue pom-Pom’s from the dollar store, long dowels , a styrofoam wreath from the craft store and a glue gun to set these babies up! Graham cracker crust cookie crumb was used in this setup as the sand! Simple quick and easy under the sea cakepops also contributed to this table! You can view the tutorial for these cakepops under the tab “Tutorials.” Clear balloons for bubbles and a fish net that we also got from the dollar store! Above all, our cake! I was totally loving the way my Bubble Guppy Mermaid came out on this one ! I find it so crazy how a talent can improve with practice! I’ve made this mermaid earlier on in my caking career and it did not look as flawless as this one, LOL! Hope you love it! ❤️ Any questions we are here to help! Ask away below! 👇🏼 I always love the challenge of a custom theme! I was able to bring these little owls to life at this “ Owl Love You Forever” Baby Shower! We designed our centerpieces and dessert table and were even able to get this mama’s -to-be old rocking chair reupholstered to match her Nursery theme! We took the inspiration for this shower right from her baby registry ❤️. Let’s start with my favorite part, the cake ! I work best and get the most creative when I have free reign over the design . My ideas come within the moments that I am decorating! I love that! Originally, the black hole in the middle was empty but then this phrase dawned on me! It was perfect because the gender was a surprise to them! I ordered these cute little cookies as part of the decor for dessert table! I also found these adorable little houses at my local craft store and they didn’t cost much! Here we created the centerpieces. We tried to use elements in our decor the could become useful to her nursery. We couldn’t go wrong with diaper cakes! What new mama doesn’t need diapers! I loved crafting our favors!! We found this cute little lip balm printable on Etsy and were able to find some lip balms at the dollar store! We had to ask the sales associate to see if they had more yellow in their stock! Fortunately for us, they did! So happy with the way these came out. At first, I had some trouble putting them together but then I quickly figured out the trick! Last but not least, I found this cute little Owl book that was perfect for our guests to sign and leave the new baby a message ! We displayed this at the entrance along with a diaper bouquet that we crafted! Oh, and we crafted that welcome sign too! here are some of the little extra details that we added to our final display! Hope you love it! We sure do! we had a busy summer for 2017 ! I had the pleasure of bringing this table together for my gorgeous little cousin Penelope! This was an easy and quick one for me. We were pressed for time and used some of our dessert hacks for this table! From a delicious strawberry and vanilla cake to mini marshmallow cups and sweet treats! The weather was beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!
This past January I had the honor of coordinating my best friends babyshower! I’ve been waiting for this day for soooo long ! To top it off she is having double the joy hence our theme “Two the moon and back!” I’m so excited to share the details with you!
Lets start of with our cake display! My incredible and amazing hubster built these trending table pillars for me! I was able to create the also trending organic balloon arch to hover over the top and wrap around the base. We rented the gorgeous baby shower chair and of course, I made the cake ? :)!
We played many games with great prizes! My favorite was the hilarious onesie contest! Everyone brought a humorous onesie and the mama to be voted on her favorite one! The winner won agift card for dinner!
The Daddy to be is an accountant so this onesie was a perfect winner!
From mini personalized chocolate filled boxes ,mini barefoot wine bottles , a personalized belly sash, and custom baby moon cake topper - I thought out and crafted every detail of this shower!
Here is a before and after pic of the table setups!
