Save time and money when setting up a dessert table!
I’ll let you in on some secrets!

1- Choose a small table - the less space the less desserts and props you will need to fill the table!
This also makes it less expensive when purchasing a table cloth !( *You want to make sure the table cloth reaches the floor for a clean, elegant and classy look! ) This gold table cloth was purchased here TRLYC 60 x 120-Inch Rectangular Sequin Tablecloth Gold

2- Purchase cake stands from Home Goods or other discount store! My cake stands ranged from $6.99 to $12.99 . I remember trying to save money by "D.I.Y.ing" cake stands for my daughters Shopkins party , ughh!!! I ended up spending more money and energy on them than I would've by just purchasing them! Personally, It was totally not worth the money or time for me! And did I mention, they broke easily!! 😔
(Can't decide on the cake stand color? You can never go wrong with white!)

3-Minimize baking! - Get creative with already baked desserts you can purchase from your local market and customize them! I always think of the snacks and desserts my family loves from our local store! My local wholesale food store sells amazingly Delish chocolate chip cookies and other sweet-tooth satisfying desserts! For this Tory Burch themed party I got creative with some coconut macaroons and dipped them in coral colored chocolate melts to match this parties theme! Get creative! We also used Ferrero Rocher chocolates and placed them on mini cupcake stand .

4- Get mini apothecary jars and place them on risers! Sometimes these apothecary jars aka candy jars are pretty big (and expensive) and require a lot of candy to fill them up! Purchasing smaller ones only required less bags of candy! 1 bag of Hershey kisses, 1 bag of sixlets, and 1 bag of peach rings did the trick for my set! Get creative with what you fill them with! Here We also thought of caramel popcorn to go with our color scheme! One bag cost me $1.99 and filled up this slightly bigger candy jar! ( You can find them here Mantello Decor Glass Apothecary Jars (Clear, Small, Set of 3)

5- Fill a mini cupcake stand with something other than cupcakes! Here we chose the ever sooooo favorite Ferrero Rocher chocolates! Yum!! Here is that link Wilton 307-250 Cupcakes `n More 24-Count 4-Tier Mini Dessert Stand

6- Add height and elegance to your cake with dummy cakes! Yup ! I said it, dummies!! Can you guess which tiers are dummies?? It's a tough one!! This cake would've gone to waste if it were all cake!
Get those here :
LA Crafts 4 Piece Cake Dummy Set, Round

7. Purchase serving plates at your local party store! These plates ranged in price of only $1-$2!! They served as a nice color balance and added a touch of elegance to our desserts!

8. Combine cupcakes and cake pops on one tier. I made 8 cake pops and 15 cupcakes! You don't have to order a million cake pops to get a beautiful look, really! I promise !! It's the look and impression you want to reach! You will have a ton of leftovers if you order one of each dessert for every guest! Guests are usually full by the time dessert time comes around ,so don't go crazy asking yourself if you have enough! If the table is filled , then you have enough 😊

9- Mini Cakes- these are an awesome touch! These are dummies! Yes, I said it again! Took me all of 10-15 min to fondant each dummy and slap on some decorations! You know what's Even better, I can reuse the dummies for future parties!! (The stands are large candle holders I purchased at Home Goods and spray painted gold! )
here are those dummies

10- Still have space on that table? Use your party favors to fill up empty space!
Party favors usually match the decor and color scheme , so why not put them to good use!? Place them strategically on the table to fill it up!

And there you have it! A gorgeously decorated, eye catching table! Above all, it will make the guest of honor feel extra special on their big day!! 😊
